More information about our vision and values can be found at: and .What you will do:As the successful candidate for this position, you will support the Energy Program and the Water, Telecom, Safety and Consumers Programs by facilitating the discovery and information requests and responses for the Staff analysts and economists to assist them with investigating matters before the Commission. Works directly with the analysts and their managers in filing the analysts’ testimony and comments, managing the discovery tracking system, scheduling items for regular and special public meetings, scheduling and hosting other meetings, assisting Safety staff with administrative tasks and committee facilitation, and proof-reading documents.Major duties include:Prepares documents for the Energy Program and the Water, Telecom, Safety and Consumers Programs from a template or general direction.Support Analysts in compiling redacting testimony and exhibits ensuring due dates are met.Tracks, logs, and facilitates discovery for Commission Staff in an electronic format using a cloud-based application such as Huddle.Process and secure protected information submitted in agency proceedings.Proofread complex documents for spelling, punctuation, grammar, format, syntax, and presentation.Administrative support activities including as acting as membership coordinator, compiling agenda for quarterly meetings, scheduling speakers, preparing correspondence and materials under the direction of Staff.Responds to requests for case information from PUC management, Commission Staff, and other stakeholders.Benefits for joining our Team:Rewarding work in a productive and creative environment.Colleagues who are innovative and passionate about public service.Work/life balance, 11 paid holidays a year, and a competitive benefits package.Advancement and learning opportunities that will help grow your career with the State of Oregon.Possible eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.More information about the PUC can be found online at: .This is a permanent, full-time, unrepresented position.Hybrid-Remote Work:Currently, employees who live in the State of Oregon may request approval for hybrid-remote work (generally from the employee’s personal residence). This position may be performed remotely, and at our central office in Salem. The ability to report to Salem is required when business or operational needs are necessary for onsite activities.
