We are a matrix engineering and technology organization so you will touch multiple programs over your career!What You Will Be DoingAs an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:– Primary technical contact for the responsible PAC-3 electronics hardware
– Lead failure investigation, root cause and corrective action; and provide technical disposition/recommendation for production hardware.
– Present technical issues to program leadership and occasionally to SHIELD, ensuring accurate and appropriate presentations
– Coordinate activities between production sites and the program to clear constraints to DD250
– Coordinate changes to the existing Technical Data Package to meet program and/or customer needs. Present the changes to the change review boards.
– Coordinate the activities of suppliers in conjunction with Sub-Contracts Management to support overall program goals
– Support Obsolescence Planning and Coordination
– Technical oversight of a major subcontractorIt is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking. Learn more here:Basic Qualifications– Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
– Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
– Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
– Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
– Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
– Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
– Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically.Desired skills– Experience with developing engineering estimates for proposals and reviewing suppliers’ estimates.
– Certified or working knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM)
– Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during failure investigation
– Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
– Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
– Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production.
