– Provide frontline customer support of enterprise-wide shared applications (Workday, FAMIS and the related SSO applications).
– Monitor and manage assigned ticketing queues according to established guidelines using the TAMUS ticketing application. Provide timely updates and effective communication methods to keep stakeholders informed through resolution.
– Prepare procedural documentation, knowledgebase articles and user manuals to be used by staff.
– Participate in training and professional development sessions.
– Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Four months of experience in user IT support.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:– Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.– Knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving, client relations skills, and requirement assessment and analysis.– Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.– Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.– Must have strong interpersonal skills.- Occasional travel and work outside scheduled hours.Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Education:
Degree in Technology or Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology.Preferred Experience:
One or more years of recent experience providing IT support at a higher education institution.Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
