Job description: Job Overview:
We are seeking 4 skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team with the Colville Indian Health Center. This position requires NO weekends, NO overnights, and NO on-call availability. There is a location in Omak, WA and a location in Nespelem, WA. You will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. This is a full-time contract position. Compensation and benefits are dependent on experience as well as duration of stay.Requirements:

  • Willing to relocate to Omak, WA area – Valid, unrestricted NP license in ANY state or territory. – US Citizen or US Resident with authorization to work, no visa sponsorship.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • DEA/BLS/ACLS licenses.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records – Comply with all IHS facility safety procedures, practices, and standards
