Job description: A leading Consulting Firm in the Bay Area is seeking a skilled FlexLM License Manager Administrator to join their dynamic IT team. If you have a passion for maintaining high availability of license servers and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, this role is perfect for you!You will be responsible for managing and maintaining FlexLM license servers, providing expert support to end-users, and ensuring optimal performance of our licensing environment. You will need a strong background troubleshoot and resolve licensing issues while enforcing best practices for server security and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain FlexLM license servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve licensing issues, providing support to end-users and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
- Monitor license usage, generate usage reports, and optimize license allocation to meet organizational needs.
- Implement and enforce security measures and best practices for license server management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing FlexLM
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve licensing issues promptly.
- Strong Linux Fundamentals, Ansible Automation, and Bash and Python Scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and experience in generating and analyzing usage reports.
- Knowledge of security practices related to server management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
