We break down barriers by connecting patients to their providers through cutting-edge telehealth solutions. Additionally, we enhance care coordination by assisting patients in selecting the most suitable health provider referral based on factors such as costs, outcomes, and schedule availability.The TeamJoin our dynamic Provider-Network Management software development team and be a part of building the next generation of online referral management features for healthcare providers. Our goal is to improve care coordination across our ecosystem, ensuring that patients receive high-quality and affordable care within their network. Our team is built to ensure our products meet the needs of our customers and are comprised of talented frontend and backend software developers, an embedded product owner, and an experience designer. We prioritize industry best practices such as continuous delivery and iterative agile methodologies to ensure the timely delivery of quality functionality. Operating in two-week Agile sprints, we quickly roll out features to a subset of our customers for feedback as they mature.What do we look for?A software developer who demonstrates design and engineering excellence and has experience building web applications, preferably in public and private cloud environments. You are an excellent communicator and nimble learner who loves collaborating with teammates to build software that solves complex healthcare technology challenges.You will play a crucial role in writing and delivering functionality that constantly enhances the experiences of millions of patients. Your work will have a direct impact on real people in their time of need, making a meaningful difference in their lives.In this role, you will develop and support frontends backed by highly performant and scalable APIs. - Contribute to a high-availability enterprise service, supporting over 50k unique daily users.
- Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes.
- Collaborate inclusively with a cross-functional Agile team consisting of Engineers, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, and an Experience Designer.
- Adhere to DoD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, bug fixes, documentation, and coding best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- OR a master’s degree in a STEM-related field
- Web application development experience with focus on the frontend
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field
- Proficiency in advanced frontend concepts like hooks, portals
- Experience creating test frameworks (e.g. Jest, Cypress)
- Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise-scale backend development for web applications a plus
- Knowledge and/or experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins along with git, bitbucket, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting infrastructure such as AWS
