Job description: Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Healthcare Engagement Specialist (Call Center Agent) to work on their project based out of Remote.Job Title: Healthcare Engagement Specialist (Call Center Agent)Location: RemoteJob Type: FulltimeJob Description:A successful Member Engagement Specialist masters the art of connecting to patients/members by channeling his/her own healthcare experiences to measure their engagement level and initiate the right call to action to achieve the call goal. The role relies heavily on a warm, compassionate, goal-oriented person who is easy going, relatable, and dedicated to providing a 5-Star experience even when met with opposition.Responsibilities:

  • Making inbound/outbound calls and reaching out to insurance health plans, medical groups, providers, and patients/members (Medicare, Medicaid and Value Based Organizations)
  • Goal-oriented and highly motivated to achieve productivity goals and improve health outcomes
  • Use influential communication techniques that educate patients/members of the importance of why you are calling, the benefits of the call to action, and following- up to ensure a smooth interaction through the delivery of that service
  • Must have an aptitude of providing 5-Star service with compassion, understanding, and the ability to motivate without being pushy
  • Outreach calls include scheduling patient appointments, reminders to close quality gaps in care, welcome calls, follow-up calls, surveys, and other projects related to improving quality health outcomes

  • Desire to work in healthcare or healthcare background/experience
  • Customer success /customer escalation background
  • Call-center background
  • Self-motivated, goals-driven, and disciplined to work remote
  • Strong typing and grammar skills
  • Computer application savvy (CRM, Call Center, Campaign Management)
  • Ability to demonstrate friendly and gentle demeanor with all types of people
  • Excellent oratory skills (clear, direct tone)
  • HIPAA compliant and strict protection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
  • Must always follow all compliance and HIPAA related policies
  • Highly coachable and excited to learn
  • Team player who adds to the positive and inclusive culture in the workplace
  • Bi-lingual (not required)
