What We’re Looking For:A detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator with 2-4 years of experience in human resources support roles. In this position, you will assist the HR department with the administration of daily HR tasks and projects, including employee onboarding, benefits coordination, and maintaining personnel records. You’ll be a key point of contact for employees and help ensure that our HR functions run smoothly and efficiently. - Provides administrative support for the HR department, including maintaining employee records, updating weekly communication boards, preparing HR reports, and updating the HRIS.
- Serves as a backup for the Recruiter with recruiting and onboarding processes by scheduling phone interviews, coordinating new hire paperwork when needed.
- Serves as a point of contact for employee questions helping to resolve basic employee concerns.
- Supports the benefits administration process by assisting with open enrollment, updating benefits records, and processing changes.
- Serves on the Employee Engagement Committee and executes various employee recognition programs (Birthday Cards, Milestone gifts, Referral Program, etc.).
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and best practices in HR processes.
- Supports the HR team with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
