We’re looking for someone like you to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll support HR policies and objectives for a dynamic manufacturing facility with over 200 employees, fostering a high-performance, engaged, and employee-focused culture.The successful candidate will work on-site in Stevens Point Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is not a remote opportunity.
- Assist employees with interpretation of company HR policies and procedures.
- Administration of FMLA.
- Drive process improvements and ensure effective follow-up on HR matters.
- Clearly explain all aspects of employee benefits. Ensure all new enrollment requirements are communicated and understood.
- Assist in maintaining confidential personnel files with accuracy and discretion.
- Foster professional relationships with employees and actively participate as a visible and approachable member of the HR Team
What You Will Contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field; PHR or SHRM certification desired or working towards. Will consider an associate’s degree with applicable work experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in a Human Resources capacity.
- Experience working for a manufacturing facility desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS.
- Demonstrate high standards of diplomacy along with sound business judgement and relationship skills.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a working knowledge of HR best practices and Federal & State labor law.
- Character traits of Integrity, Honesty, Thoroughness, Trustworthiness, and diligence are essential.
