Job description: Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Talent Acquisition Recruiter to attract top-tier engineering talent. This fully remote position offers a fast-paced environment, a collaborative team, and a unique perk of every other Friday off. In this role, you will provide comprehensive talent acquisition services, guiding hiring managers and candidates through the full recruitment process. You will leverage your experience in full life-cycle recruiting to build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and professional communities, while staying informed on innovative recruiting techniques.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job duties, responsibilities, and required/desired skills during intake meetings.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-quality engineering candidates.
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with leaders and HR team members to ensure recruitment success and credibility.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by providing detailed information on the company, business strategy, organization, and job expectations.
- Extend employment offers to selected candidates under the direction of hiring managers and within company guidelines.
- Stay updated on recruiting trends and innovative techniques to ensure competitive recruiting practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation on candidates and searches through the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Advise on staffing and recruitment policies, ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity mandates, compensation guidelines, and company processes.
Skills Required:
- Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team.
- Expertise in handling high-volume recruiting.
- Strong partnership skills with hiring managers to establish staffing plans for new business.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt new recruiting ideas, processes, and techniques.
- Capacity to manage competing demands and provide constructive feedback in a flexible and adaptable manner.
- Strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient in mining online databases and using various internet recruiting techniques.
Skills Preferred:
- Certifications or training in recruiting (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter) are favorable.
- Experience using Kenexa Brass Ring or similar applicant tracking systems is advantageous.
Experience Required:
- Solid recruiting experience targeting core engineering fields such as Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems, or Computer Science.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions on a national, multi-location level.
- Experienced in all full life-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, compliance, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and closing candidates.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation on all recruiting activities within an applicant tracking system.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in the defense industry, including knowledge of OFCCP regulations, is highly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for niche engineering disciplines such as Electronic Warfare, AI/ML, RF, Cybersecurity, etc.
- Familiarity with recruiting candidates with various levels of security clearances and program engineering managers in defense sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to source, qualify, and hire diverse candidates.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of directly related experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Additional Information:
- Drug screening and background checks are required.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this role.
- The position is remote, but candidates must be able to drive to a company facility if needed.
- This role will begin as a contract position, with the potential to convert to a full-time permanent role.
