Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)Job Description:
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email regarding medical services and billing.
- Provide information to patients regarding medical services, insurance coverage, and payment options.
- Collect and verify insurance information, ensuring eligibility and benefits are accurately documented.
- Assist patients with payment plans and financial assistance options as needed.
Required skills/experience:
- One year of healthcare or medical call center experience is required
- Benefit verification – Prior Authorization
- Healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Education:
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
