You can work on your own to get a project done from beginning to end with no mistakes.About us:As the JVP family of organizations, we are growing, developing and mobilizing a powerful grassroots, multiracial base of Jews toward a future of Judaism beyond Zionism, Palestinian freedom and the end of Israeli apartheid and occupation.About the role:We are seeking an Operations, Finance, and HR Coordinator to provide logistical infrastructure and expertise for the programmatic, fundraising, finance, and Human Resources work of our remote organization. Our Finance and Operations Department is the backbone of the work of the organization across programs and also makes sure that the organization is properly caring for our staff as people, workers, and movement leaders. The Operations, Finance, and HR Coordinator will conduct operational tasks for other departments and teams.Duties and responsibilities include:Virtual Office “Front Desk” Duties – (20% of role)Family of Organizations email inbox monitoring/responding/forwardingCheck voicemail, make return calls, or direct information as necessary.Manager of phone systemBasic Data Administration (10% of role)Membership & Fundraising data adminAnswer questions from members/donors about their donation recordsWork with Data team to make updates to member/donor dataFinance (35% of role)Monthly bank reconciliation spreadsheets for JVP using EveryAction, PureSight, Paragon, Excel, and Google Sheets.Check deposit codingProcess bill payments using BILL (online software)Process and facilitate staff credit card reconciliations using Expensify and Google SheetsPayPal reconciliation spreadsheet using PayPal, Excel, and Google Sheets.Human Resources (20% of role)Produce and track contractsTimesheets tracking and backup using Quickbooks Time (online software)Fundraising (5% of role)Monthly participation in phonebanksSummer and Year-end fundraisingOther Organizational Operational Projects (10% of role)In-person and online events logisticsOther projects as determined by supervisor and Director of Finance and Operations.Skills required:Detail oriented: Notices and fixes errors that others might overlook. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach. Has, or can create, a system for keeping tasks from slipping through the cracks. Plans backwards to make deadlines. Asks for help when needed.Relational: Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, members, donors, and the general public.Tech literacy: High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Asana, G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Drive, and Calendar), Zoom, and social media platforms; Proficiency in or ability to quickly learn EveryAction database.
