- The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour paid biweekly.
- Monday-Friday 9:30AM -6PM ET (Training: first 4 weeks M-F 8am-4:30pm CT)
- Remote position
- This position is a contract to hire.
Responsibilities
- Review and complete criteria based on prior authorization as per policy and procedure.
- Serves as decision-maker on PA
- Assures the proper processing and maintenance of all PA paperwork.
- Works distributed faxes. Maintains accurate documentation of calls. Works all client exceptions.
- Promptly answer priority and escalated calls on Pharmacist-line.
- Maintains and updates all desk references materials.
- Attends on going training and development meetings.
Requirements
- Must have prior authorization experience in PBM/Managed Care (not retail, hospital, etc…)
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharm D.
- Must have an active license in good standing.
- Basic computer skills
- They must have a sufficient/private work area that is used for business during their work hours.
- Must be comfortable communicating by telephone or mail, with patients and physicians for patient care
