- Place and route components ensuring that all electrical and physical specifications meet the specific design requirements for each PCB design. • Participate in design reviews, interface with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and process engineers to design proto-type and production quality printed circuit boards in accordance with company standards and procedures. • Create fabrication and assembly drawings, parts list, incorporate changes to existing design documentation and create and maintain component library. • Generate all outputs files required for the manufacture of the board and assembly. • Create new and make changes to existing schematic Diagrams using Cadence Concept HDL or SYSCAP schematic tool. • Work closely with Checkers, various engineering disciplines, designers and Technical leads. • Provide feedback to design engineers as needed to ensure functionality and manufacturability of PCB designs. • Suggest options when faced with challenging PCB design situations including resolutions to non-standard problems.

Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Totowa, New Jersey and some days remote.Work EnvironmentBAE works a 9/80 schedule, so consultants have every other Friday off. This role will be a 50/50 hybrid split. For the ‘on’ weeks, they will be required to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
