In this role, you’ll strive to become a trusted business and technical advisor to the Client’s team, building strong business relationships for ContactEngine.ContactEngine is a cloud-hosted conversation platform, and part of NICE CXone’s suite of customer engagement software. Pro-active and covering all digital channels, ContactEngine leverages artificial intelligence, natural-language processing and machine-learning so that global brands can transform their customer journeys.ContactEngine disrupts the traditional call-centers, being just a fraction of the cost to deploy and run, but with three times the customer engagement rate of its manual call-center predecessors. This means that as well as being lower cost, ContactEngine can drive corporate KPIs harder and faster, as well as improve the customer experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft interesting narratives and develop demonstration presentations that tell a concise and cohesive story about how ContactEngine solves key enterprise business challenges.
  • Have (or be able to rapidly gain) a comprehensive understanding of AI concepts, tools, and technologies, in the pursuit of guiding clients through the facts and fiction of the space and the overall marketplace in ways that differentiates ContactEngine from competing solutions.
  • Have (or be able to rapidly gain) a deep understanding of the client’s business and their key business drivers to determine how ContactEngine can most effectively and rapidly deliver dramatic business improvements.
  • Lead discovery workshops with target clients, providing guidance on best-in-class proactive journey design and technical architecture.
  • Analyze client data prior to client commitment to facilitate business case creation and impact assessment.
  • Monitor key client metrics and develop new and innovative ways to demonstrate ContactEngine’s value.
  • Manage client proof of value projects through designing the solution, working with implementation for deployment, submit and monitor tickets for work items, help tune AI models, monitor journey performance and design enhancements to deliver the value needed to close the sale.
  • Anticipate technical problems, provide guidance for effective adoption, and communicate best practices.

  • Ability to articulate technical and non-technical information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Close working partnership with ContactEngine sales lead, customer success manager and implementation lead.
  • A commercially aware approach with a high attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset enjoy working autonomously and are a team player.

Experience and skills:

  • Strong & deep experience in one or more of ContactEngine’s target sectors (financial services, insurance, higher education, state government, mobile telco, healthcare, utilities and service providers)
  • Five years of SaaS experience in sales engineering / pre-sales consulting – you’ll be highly experienced in supporting Sales / Ops teams with hands-on Technical Support of clients in all aspects of Technical Delivery – from Solution Design, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering and Delivery.
  • Extremely strong commercial awareness, including the creation of business cases and proving out a client’s ROI.
  • Experience in complex enterprise buying environments.
  • Strong technical experience, including data analysis.
  • Proven relationship management experience, with the ability to communicate with, present to and influence stakeholders and sponsors within management levels at blue-chip organizations.
  • Detailed knowledge of large corporations operating practices and mechanisms that will enable you to tailor stakeholder management and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and workstreams concurrently without loss of quality or attention to detail.
  • Able to operate highly effectively under intense time and business pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willing to travel (c. 50% of the time).
  • Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to effectively influence both technical and executive audiences (CTO, Chief Architect, VP of Development)
