Job description: Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Procurement Intelligence Analyst to support Cherokee Federal and a variety of civilian agencies in McLean, VA. The team is seeking a business intelligence analyst and procurement specialist to conduct in-depth research and analysis on competitors, market trends, and federal procurement policies to support strategic decision-making for the organization.Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid – T/TH Remote)Responsibilities of the Procurement Intelligence Analyst:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on competitors, market trends, and federal procurement policies to provide actionable insights and intelligence.
- Gather data from a variety of sources, including federal databases, industry reports, and competitive intelligence tools, to build comprehensive profiles of competitors and market conditions.
- Develop and present detailed reports, briefings, and dashboards on competitive landscape, including key trends, threats, opportunities, and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate with business development and strategy teams to inform and support the development of competitive strategies, proposal strategies, and tactical approaches.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their information needs and provide timely, relevant, and accurate competitive intelligence.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, policy changes, and procurement opportunities to anticipate shifts in the competitive landscape.
- Maintain and update competitive intelligence databases and tools to ensure the accuracy and relevance of information.
- Implement Shipley capture management processes and best practices
- Adhere to ethical standards and compliance regulations related to the collection and use of competitive intelligence.
Qualifications of the Procurement Intelligence Analyst:· Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience as a competitive intelligence analyst or certified intelligence professional· 4+ years experience with competitive analysis, market research, intelligence analysis, or strategic analysis, with a focus on federal procurement servicing DoD and Intel· U.S. Citizenship required – Federal background investigation and drug test required· Experience with Shipley Capture Management Process· Experience with competitive intelligence – market trends, procurement policies, financial trends· Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, regulations, and market dynamics.
