Responsibilities:
- Develop, create and maintain project databases.
- Perform technical editing and writing for papers, professional presentations, proposals, administrative reports, manuals and various documents.
- Conduct internet searches to obtain information such as style sheets, author guidelines, RFA guidelines and hotel and travel information as required.
- Assist project staff in producing, reproducing, compiling and assembling materials for project reports, meetings and trainings.
- Assist principal investigators with developing and organizing of project and contract files.
- Organize, manage, and coordinate logistics for trainings and major meetings.
- Occasionally travel to support the activities of project or other project meetings and trainings and/or willingness and commitment to work after hours to meet key project deadlines.
- Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social sciences or Bachelor’s degree with research experience.
- Demonstrated strong research, meeting planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Preference will be given to those with technical editing, writing and Microsoft software programs experience.
- Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
