We are seeking a part-time Project Management Intern with strong computer skills and hands-on construction experience. This role will involve assisting project managers with planning, tracking, and executing various construction projects. The position offers flexibility for remote work, making it ideal for candidates seeking a blend of in-office and remote responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a strong work ethic, humility in teamwork, and the savvy to adapt and problem-solve on the go. - Assist in coordinating and tracking construction projects from inception to completion.
- Support project managers in preparing reports, schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
- Utilize computer skills to maintain project databases, update spreadsheets, and support digital workflows.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions, either in-person or remotely.
- Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Identify potential issues and work collaboratively to implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in construction or project management (internship, part-time, or other relevant experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) and basic project management software (such as Procore or similar platforms).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
