MGBMG provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, behavioral and mental health, specialty care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging, lab services, infusion, and urgent care both digitally and in person in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.Schedule/Location:This position will be remote, however, the initial first day will need to report to our corporate headquarters in Assembly Row, Somerville MA.We ensure that our employees receive required technology and training to be proficient and independently productive in all job responsibilities regardless of work location. Employees are responsible for designating a workspace within the remote work location that is private, safe, ergonomic, and free from distractions for all hours worked.The Opportunity:Under the general direction of Mass General Brigham Medical Group (“MGB MG”) Director of Provider Strategy and Business Development, the MGBMG Provider Onboarding Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating the seamless integration of new physicians and APPs into our organization. This individual will handle all aspects of the onboarding process, ensuring that these providers have a smooth transition and are fully equipped to perform their roles successfully.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new physicians and APPs throughout the onboarding process, providing clear and timely communication regarding requirements, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments including HR, Medical Staff Services, Central Credentialing Office, and Payor Enrollment, to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Solicit feedback from new physicians and APPs regarding their onboarding experience and use this feedback to continuously improve our onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to provider onboarding, ensuring information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Troubleshoot issues and raise problems to appropriate team members while demonstrating standards of excellence in customer service in all interactions, for both internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as external community hospital CCOs, malpractice insurance carriers, and state medical boards, to improve physician onboarding efforts.

QualificationsQualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in provider onboarding, or related healthcare administration role.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build productive relationships with internal and external team members.
  • Strong proficiency in project management.
