12 month Contract, Infrastructure Project Manager, Fully Remote, $70/hr.Project Scope: This project involves the decommissioning of approximately 4K legacy systems.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to organize and prioritize the decommissioning of critical assets, ensuring an efficient and strategic approach
- Participate in weekly status meetings with client stakeholders to present project plans, address any blockers, and provide status updates following each conversion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Strong background in healthcare IT
- Exceptional organizational, discovery, and documentation skills; capable of leading client stakeholder meetings, coordinating with engineering teams, reporting to Vaco leadership, and preparing detailed meeting minutes
- Proven ability to lead teams through complex, multi-phase decommissioning processes
- Proficiency with Confluence, Smartsheets, and Microsoft Teams
- Familiarity with Waterfall methodology preferred
