We are currently looking for a full time humanities teacher to teach middle school and high school history.In this role, your responsibilities will include preparation, teaching, classroom management, record keeping (including regular use of our school information system), and assessment of the agreed-upon class sections. You will be expected to collaborate with our Learning Specialist and School Counselor to understand and implement the accommodations found in each student’s Learning Profile.ResponsibilitiesHelp to create and maintain a culture of respect, challenge, support, and care for all FlexSchool studentsMaintain timely, accurate, and considerate communication with students and parents, including consistent, up to date assignment posts and grades in the School’s SIS, BlackbaudParticipate in regular faculty meetings and professional development activities as a means of growing your craft, supporting your students, and contributing to the growth and well-being of FlexSchoolPrepare necessary paperwork for PLAAFPs, IEP meetings, ADHD/ASD teacher reports, college recommendations, among others.
