Job description: Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionSales Engineers are responsible for driving the technical sales process, providing deep technical expertise, and building strong relationships with clients. This role contributes to our success by helping our clients understand how our technology, services, and scalable solutions can help support them. Senior-level Sales Engineers mentors less experienced teammates and acts as a subject matter expert (SME) and key liaison with internal, cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities
- Conducts in-depth discovery meetings to understand client requirements and business challenges
- Designs and delivers compelling product demonstrations and presentations
- Develops customized technology and software solutions that address specific client needs
- Creates detailed technical proposals and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Acts as a technical advisor and resource throughout the sales process
- Provides post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction
- Remains up-to-date with industry trends, competitor’s products, and emerging technologies
- Attends relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and over 7 years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a related role within the software or technology industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of software development, architecture, and integration.
- Proven track record of successfully selling complex software solutions to enterprise clients.
- Knowledge of software products, primarily Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax) and OpenText AppEnhancer/AX is a plus.
- Experience with AI technology (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence, Base64.ai) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., NetSuite, HubSpot).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
