- Plans, develops, and analyzes security measures to protect critical information from counter-threats and possible attacks.
- Protects sensitive information by ensuring required software is functioning and being used correctly.
- Research new methods to improve digital security and eliminate vulnerabilities.
- Monitors and reviews user access logs and provides user usage reports to management.
- Audits operations to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Evaluates and recommends the installation, modification and replacement of hardware or software components.
- Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Typically requires BA and 0-2 years.
- SCI or DIA-sponsored SSO Administration Course
- Knowledge of SSO requirements from applicable manuals, regulations, policies, and instructions
- SCI access procedures, e-Qip, JPAS, and Scattered Castles use and management.
- Support Program COMSEC account; ensure accountability of Crypto material, key, and key-loading equipment.
- Administer the receipt, control, and accountability of SCI.
- Strong customer service skills; able to handle questions, complaints, and requests.
- Researches, gathers, and analyzes information from intelligence disciplines to determine potential threats and possible courses of action.
- Implements and disseminates strategic and tactical intelligence.
- Develops briefings, documents, presentations, and reports.
- Supports policy and procedure development for agency, interagency, or community-wide support.
- Identifies gaps in current intelligence gathered and prioritizes subsequent collection requirements.
- Performs tactical and strategic analysis.
- Assesses proposed solutions and recommended plans.
- Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Typically requires BA and 0-2 years.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- One (1) year of experience (working in a Government SCIF).
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts
