development professional who can grow our major accounts and partner with multiple client partners to drive impact and results. We are looking to expand our sales team with a high-performing sales professional motivated to drive revenue through new business development and expert account management. To be successful this person will be expected to proactively contact existing business, prospect for new business, make customer visits, and rapidly resolve customer challenges.Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and sets standards for the current team for how to establish and maintain the most effective account management approach. - Proven track record working on a small team (sleeves rolled up) and has worked with marketing to advise on needed sales tools and collaboratively engaging targets and prospects
- Can self-pace and manage self interpersonally and also against goals and performance metrics
- Works well with others and is excellent at communicating
- Loves to be the conduit to SMEs and also has an interest in becoming an SME in the consultative selling process
- Is take charge and highly relational at the same time
- Will lead by example and help set standards and milestones for account growth
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with with Leadership team to ensure strategic alignment to Institute goals
- Collaborate with VP of Marketing to ensure marketing and sales alignment
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a sales growth focused role
- Knows the learning and development, leadership development space – ideally if familiar with inclusion/women’s leadership
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to influence and build consensus
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual-thinking skills
- Ability to approach problems with creativity and curiosity
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects with strong planning and organizational skills
- A growth mindset and a bias for action
- High EQ with poise under pressure
- Proven ability to perform duties with a high level of professionalism, flexibility; discretion, judgment, diplomacy, and tact
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadline
- Experience creating detailed executive level reports/presentations to showcase sales progress and forecasting
- Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) software (i.e. HubStot, Salesforce)
- Experience with WordPress, Zoom, Google Suite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
