Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop precise revenue forecasts based on historical data and market trends
- Reconcile Medicare Advantage (MA) revenue monthly
- Follow-up with MA Plans on reconciling items or incomplete data
- Perform revenue variance analysis monthly
- Allocate and analyze Capitation revenue cash received
- Allocate and analyze Fee-for-Service revenue cash received
- Review Sales & Telemarketing monthly/quarterly enrollment commissions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; Prepare calculations
- Review Broker services files to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; Prepare calculations
- Liaise between Accounting and Sales regarding Broker and Sales-related questions as it pertains to payment eligibility
- Assist with Accounting validation of Broker contracts and supporting documentation
- Assist with ad-hoc data and analysis requests; Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
- Assist with the build-out of SOP documentation for the Accounting & Finance department
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Healthcare experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Time management and ability to multi-task
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Highly self-motivated and proactive problem solver who can work independently and collaborate through strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player that can build effective working relationships with others in the department and organization
- Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in Accounting and keep current with developments and trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA license (or in progress)
- QuickBooks and NetSuite experience
- Experience with Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment
