Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop precise revenue forecasts based on historical data and market trends
  • Reconcile Medicare Advantage (MA) revenue monthly
  • Follow-up with MA Plans on reconciling items or incomplete data
  • Perform revenue variance analysis monthly
  • Allocate and analyze Capitation revenue cash received
  • Allocate and analyze Fee-for-Service revenue cash received
  • Review Sales & Telemarketing monthly/quarterly enrollment commissions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; Prepare calculations
  • Review Broker services files to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; Prepare calculations
  • Liaise between Accounting and Sales regarding Broker and Sales-related questions as it pertains to payment eligibility
  • Assist with Accounting validation of Broker contracts and supporting documentation
  • Assist with ad-hoc data and analysis requests; Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Assist with the build-out of SOP documentation for the Accounting & Finance department

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Healthcare experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Time management and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines and priorities
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive problem solver who can work independently and collaborate through strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player that can build effective working relationships with others in the department and organization
  • Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in Accounting and keep current with developments and trends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA license (or in progress)
  • QuickBooks and NetSuite experience
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment
