You’ll work closely with various teams to assess security risks, enhance business continuity strategies, and ensure the company remains compliant with key security frameworks such as SANS Top 20, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NERC/CIP, and NIST. You’ll take a hands-on approach in managing security incident responses, evaluating infrastructure vulnerabilities, and implementing best practices to protect critical systems.Collaboration is key-you will liaise with IT, operations, and leadership teams to drive security initiatives, oversee infrastructure change management, and ensure the organization is prepared for any potential disruptions while working to mitigate any risks to the organization. Your ability to analyze, adapt, and implement cutting-edge security solutions will be critical to success in this role.Who You AreYou’re a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in the world of cybersecurity and business continuity. You have a strong technical foundation in computing technologies, system and network administration, and security solutions. You understand the complex architecture of enterprise networks and data centers and have expertise in tools like SIEM, EDR, VPN, firewalls, and access control systems.You enjoy problem-solving and take pride in maintaining a secure and resilient business environment. Your ability to respond quickly and efficiently to security incidents, coupled with your proficiency in disaster recovery planning, sets you apart. You can effectively communicate security strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making you an influential figure in promoting a strong security culture within the company.You bring a wealth of experience, including:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer networks and systems, computer information systems, or equivalent certifications and experience.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with security infrastructure, remote access technologies, and incident response management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
