Job title: Senior Consultant – IT Cost Estimation (Fully Remote)

Job description: UGT is looking for a Senior Consultant to support our client with IT Cost Estimation support. This role will play an integral part in support the CIO and standardizing costs for our client.Role Responsibilities
- Capture, analyze, and estimate IT costs for specific IT programs and projects.
- Perform project sizing by identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the effort based on the Technical Baseline and other inputs.
- Using the SEER Cost Estimation product suite, apply parametric cost estimating methods to estimate program costs for the full life cycle, five (5) years.
- Develop a Cost Management Process
- Maintain Quality Control over the IT cost estimates
- Support the CIO with cost-estimating operations
- Maintain current labor category rates
Minimum Qualification:
- A minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in IT cost estimating and information systems, development, acquisition, operations, or maintenance.
- Experience demonstrating the ability to analyze project requirements for the purpose of accurately estimating IT project costs, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in applying the GAO cost estimating and assessment guide, the GAO Agile assessment guide, the CPIC, and/or PMI program and project cost estimating best practices;
- Demonstrated ability to provide overall direction and leadership for the preparation of hardware/software cost estimates.
- Minimum Education: BS/BA or equivalent education. If this cannot be met, the Library will accept training and certification of any one of the following: PMP, FAC-P/PM, CCEA, PCEA, and/or SCEC.
- Experience utilizing SEER Cost Estimation product suite is strongly preferred, but not required
