Job description: Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to fill an opening with an established and proven company located in Troy, Michigan.Requirements of the HR Business Partner

  • Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Existing or prior experience as an HR Business Partner is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
  • Collaborator who can work well with other functional groups
  • Prior experience with HRIS and or talent management systems
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner

  • Administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to learning and development; talent acquisition and onboarding; compensation, benefits, and leaves; and staff relations.
  • Plans for and manages the performance review process.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
  • Review, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Engage with third party recruiters to find talent for key positions
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Liaisons with Compliance Officer regarding regulatory matters
  • Will manage employee-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sometimes sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
