- Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Existing or prior experience as an HR Business Partner is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
- Collaborator who can work well with other functional groups
- Prior experience with HRIS and or talent management systems
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner
- Administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to learning and development; talent acquisition and onboarding; compensation, benefits, and leaves; and staff relations.
- Plans for and manages the performance review process.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
- Review, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Engage with third party recruiters to find talent for key positions
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Liaisons with Compliance Officer regarding regulatory matters
- Will manage employee-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sometimes sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
