Job description: Job Summary:This position is responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting TRA clinical imaging applications, including PACS and RIS, while bringing new and innovative technologies and ideas to the business. This person must have knowledge of healthcare technology needs, particularly in the radiology discipline, and a history of bringing solutions to the business place in a proactive manner. This person should be a team player and leader who actively inspires others to work towards common goals, while supporting the personal growth of others as well as themselves. There is regular interaction with staff outside of the IT area, which requires this individual to have the ability to interact effectively with physicians, clinical staff, management, and vendors.Pay and Benefits:Pay: $87,125 – $118,156 per year based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities.Benefits + Perks:

Location: This is 100% remote role. TRA will provide all work equipment and remote training.*** Please note we can only accept candidates from the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington. If you do not live in one of these states, we cannot consider you for hire. ***Schedule: 1.0 FTE – 40 hours – Monday – FridayEssential Job Functions: * Primary responsibility for implementing, managing, and supporting TRA’s clinical imaging applications, including IntelePACS, Clario Worklist, LaurelBridge, and MedIformatix RIS.

  • Responsible for implementing and managing interfaces between imaging systems, including coordination of outside resources.
  • Overall responsibility for overseeing or performing daily maintenance and monitoring tasks.
  • Responsible for the documentation and configuration control of the systems, with a primary goal of ensuring highly-available systems.
  • Responsible for bringing new and innovative technologies and ideas to the business.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call coverage for IT systems.
  • Close monitoring of ticket queues and work e-mail.

Qualifications:Education/Work Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering high quality clinical imaging support services.
  • Applicable professional certifications highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or job related experience is highly desirable.
  • Formal training in and use of project management methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience managing teams is highly desirable.
  • Formal training and/or experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) is required.
  • Formal training and/or experience with DICOM interfaces and protocols is required.
  • Formal training and/or experience with interface engines and protocols, including HL7 is highly desirable.

Job Knowledge/Skills

  • A systems thinker who is able to see the “big picture” while still maintaining the various components.
  • In-depth understanding of radiology work flow, especially in outpatient clinics.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively troubleshoot complex problems with minimal information.
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of networking, server, and desktop technologies.

  • Ability to interact effectively with physicians, clinical staff, management, and vendors
  • An inquisitive and tenacious nature, eager to learn and willing to drive innovation.

  • A history of bringing solutions to the business in a proactive manner.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology needs, particularly in the radiology discipline.

  • Communicate professionally with other medical facilities, patients, and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and carry out instructions effectively.

Licensure/CertificationsCurrent driver’s license valid in the state of Washington is required or other evidence of equivalent mobility.Physical RequirementsWork is classified as sedentary in physical requirements. Requires the ability to lift/carry 1-5 pounds frequently, occasionally 10 pounds maximum.Mental RequirementsWork requires high attention to detail and the ability to handle mentally stressful situations. The ability to maintain high level of sensitivity towards confidential information is also required.Working/Environmental ConditionsWork environment consists of normal office or administrative working conditions.
