You will also provide applications support to critical areas of HECC such as statewide scholarship and grant systems, Academic Policy & Authorization (APA) and Oregon Degree Authorization (ODA) post-secondary and private institution administration, and many other systems.The Work at a GlanceThis position includes applications and software development in the following areas:ConstructionDesignCodingImplementationPlanningOperationsCustomer ServiceThis recruitment is to fill full-time limited duration, job rotation and permanent positions headquartered at HECC’s Salem Office that are union represented. The successful candidate may be eligible for in-state hybrid work, which consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.For a complete list of duties and working conditions, please contact the recruiter for the position description.What We Need (Minimum Qualifications)Six (6) years of information systems experience in: web-based and/or .Net application development, or administering and developing applications using cloud platforms.ORAn Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND four (4) years of information systems experience in: web-based and/or .Net application development, or administering and developing applications using cloud platforms.
ORA Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND
two (2) years of information systems experience in: web-based and/or .Net application development, or administering and developing applications using cloud platforms.
ORMaster’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.Desired Attributes/SkillsIf you have these qualities, let us know!
