- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Obtain BLS certification upon hire and maintain as current.
- Obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire and maintain as current.
Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. Including accurate and appropriate assessments and reassessments following the Standards of Care for Endoscopy Unit.
- Documents thoroughly, following regulatory and hospital requirements. Including updating Phase II times, procedural start/stop times and other required documentation in the EMR system.
- Evaluates patients response to interventions. Evaluates patients pain level and response to medication.
- Assessment should include use of the pain scale and documentation on the EMAR per hospital policy.
- Assumes responsibility for clinical competency and professional development.
- Independently manages patient assignment utilizing appropriate use of resources.
