Job description: Job Description Summary As a member of the Strategic Customer Group’s Government Contracting Team, reporting to the Director of Government Contracts and Operations, this position is responsible for the integration of operational support activities for the team. The Senior Manager, Contracts and Compliance Integration leads a team of consultants and analysts who are focused on post award activities supporting the work completed by the Federal Contracts team to include contract compliance, pricing agreement and price quoting management, and data reporting, and systems management. This associate will work closely with various internal cross functional teams and key external business partners to identify solutions that yield quantifiable process improvement.The candidate must understand government contracts requirements across BD’s overall product portfolio to include FSS, GSA, DAPA, Product List, ECAT, OTA, IDIQ, Firm fixed price, Cost Per Test, and consignment type contracts. The candidate will collaborate with the Federal Contracts Senior Manager to identify focus areas for operational improvement resulting quantifiable ROI directly impacting compliance, process, and revenue. Become a maker of possible with us.Key Responsibilities Will Include::Leads a team of 3-5 people responsible for contract compliance governance, data reporting, systems management, pricing agreement governance, and price quoting management.Communicates potential compliance risks identified the team and mitigation plans to leadership team.Drives end-to-end business intelligence capabilities, starting from improved data quality and leading to advanced analytics that guide decision-making for leadership and internal business partners.Leads the development and execution of Sales Force excellence programs, enabling teams through training, coaching, and performance measurement.Oversees enterprise-wide pricing and quoting activities in alignment to contract and compliance requirements.Collaborates with the leadership team to identify projects for process improvement resulting quantifiable ROI directly impacting compliance, process, and revenue.Monitors and analyzes key performance metrics to measure the team effectiveness, identify areas for improvement.Prioritizes data projects across competing business priorities while identifying resource requirements for production and sustainment.Leads compliance mitigation projects to achieve compliance initiatives.Ensures appropriate record retention in accordance with BD document retention policy.Identifies and understands key areas of change management with the ability to recognize and communicate the impact of change across functional teams.Provide guidances and coaching to staff to attract, develop, and retain talent.About you: To be successful in this role, you will possess:Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of three (3) years experience in a leadership or management role.Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles within the medical device or healthcare industry.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Strong understanding of government contracting lifecycle to support compliance through policy development.In-depth understanding of sales and marketing processes, business intelligence tools, and pricing strategies.Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Power BI, Salesforce, etc.Candidate must have proven track record to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within all levels of organization.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead people and foster career development.Ability to travel, up to ~20%.Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility.
