Team members in the Thermofluid Discipline are experts on thermal systems analysis, propulsion systems, heat exchanger design, heat transfer & multi-phase flows, multi-domain & multi-objective optimization schemes, topology optimization.What You Will DoThe 2025 Summer Intern may contribute to the following areas:
- Modeling and analysis of novel thermodynamic systems for electric systems, power generation, waste heat recovery, and cooling.
- Development of exploration methods for combinatorial architectural design spaces across aerospace and defense system domains.
- Application of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to enable system design.
- Implementation of novel optimization and uncertainty quantification methods.
- Power and cooling system build and tests and mission engineering and commercial product utilization simulations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or M.S. degree program with graduate research in the areas of the areas of heat transfer and thermal engineering. Please upload a copy of your academic transcripts with your application.

- 1+ years of experience working in a research laboratory environment.
