At Akamai, great design can transform businesses.Shape the Future of UX DesignAs a Senior User Experience Designer, you will play a significant role in leading the design for major products and features. Working closely with product owners, you’ll lead design efforts from concept through launch.As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to create excellent experiences that balance business, user, and technology requirements
- Creating scenarios, use cases, workflows, and mockups to effectively collaborate and communicate ideas
- Working on a variety of projects from major initiatives as well as short-term work
- Transforming broad, conceptual ideas into valuable products by creating elegant solutions for complex problems
- Integrating qualitative and quantitative data from analytics and user research to solve user’s problems.
- Designing within an existing design system framework while applying accessibility and inclusion principles.
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5-8 years of relevant experience in UX/UI design or a related field
- Be an expert in UX/UI design skills and best practices
- Demonstrate the ability to break down complex problems into elegant, intuitive, and cohesive user experiences
- Be a problem solver, quick study, self-starter, and excellent communicator with a passion
- Have experience designing for B2B SaaS products and Enterprise software
- Have experience creating interactive prototypes in figma

The base salary for this position ranges from $91,600 – $190,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
