You will be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team with one goal:“Get quality and secure solutions in the customers hands as soon as possible”.Who We NeedSabel Systems requires a Product Lifecycle Management Information Technology Specialist (PLM IT SME) to provide technical expertise support for the development and delivery of a technical solution to a Department of Defense agency. The position requires a strong foundation in product lifecycle and technology solution implementation, experience leading technical teams, and the ability to analyze current customer business processes to identify opportunities to add transformative business value. The PLM IT SME will be responsible for working with customers to adopt and maximize value from Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. Activities will primarily relate to supporting the deployment of solutions with a functional focus.What You’ll DoReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Lead technical design and implementation of PTC’s Windchill PDMLink
  • Interact with clients to elicit objectives and frame design options
  • Troubleshoot anomalous performance
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop user requirements, technical requirements, performance considerations, data architectures, etc. and then implement those requirements in the form of IoT interfaces
  • Build, test and deploy PLM programs using industry best practices for delivery to our USMC customers
  • Work with team members to anticipate and assess client’s future needs and assess solutions
  • Install, Configure and Maintain Windchill solutions
  • Analyze system performance and optimize
  • Support working groups
  • Document aspects of the system for sharing
  • Train and mentor customers/users to improve their proficiency with the tool
  • All other duties as assigned

Your QualificationsRequired

  • 3+ years of experience with PTC’s Windchill PLM platform. Prior experience as a Windchill technical consultant is required, as well as having worked in a customer facing role providing process architecture design and workshop delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience in the following areas: Windchill PLM architecture design and deployments.
  • Transforming existing Windchill PLM Systems, along with the tooling and techniques used to accomplish such transformational projects.
  • Legacy systems retirement and data migrations.
  • Windchill systems administration and system change control procedures.
  • Windchill PLM customization reduction efforts.
  • Specific PTC product technical skills required: Expert skill level in Windchill Business Administration, Policy Administration, Lifecycle development, Workflow definition, OIRs, and container definition.
  • Systems administration of production Windchill PLM systems.
  • Understanding of CAD data management and other product data content management.
  • PLM Systems integration experience. Experience in demonstrating, implementing, and supporting Creo Engineer III Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Experience in the use of ThingWorx IIoT platform and Vuforia Enterprise AR Suite is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of product development, manufacturing, and supply chain business processes.
  • Knowledge of MES, MRP, and ERP systems and how they interact with a PLM system is a plus.
  • Understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g. DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.) is a plus.
  • Must have and maintain CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent certification to adhere to DoD IT Standards as mandated by DoDD 8570.01 and DoD 8570.01-M.

  • Ability to obtain SECRET clearance

Expected salary: $120000 – 140000 per year
